Most of our jewellery is made to order and when doing so you should be able to select your colour preference from a variety of colour options. So if you like a design and you do not see an example of your colour choice, please let me know and I can make the same design from my colour chart based on availability. Designs with thicker rope (8 mm) - all colours possible from the colour chart Designs with thin rope (5 mm) - Coral is not available Designs in wrapped cotton threads - We can discuss the colour options based on our stock of cotton threads. All our designs are handmade to perfection. We normally advise our necklace lengths on our listings. However, if you prefer to have it slightly shortened or lengthened, please let us know and we can make it happen.

All our necklaces can be finished with or without a magnet and can be designed to simply tie at the back. Just leave a note when you buy the necklace to notify your preference. The tie-back option is really popular for new-mums as they are harmless to babies and also won't break if your little one tugs or pulls them. Check out our special design 'The Rita Lightweight Crochet Necklace', which is designed as a tie back necklace and will not come off if the baby pulls the front of the necklace!

We have quite a few designs that are dual or multi-coloured in our shop. When I designed them, I followed colour and fashion trends. If you love any of those designs but would like to have them made in your colour choices, that is absolutely possible. As a creative, I'm always attracted to items that reflect my personality and outlook. Self-expression is a gift and so when I created my products I wanted to make sustainable items that reflected joy and optimism. However, I also wanted to go one step further and offer the option to make my products even more personal, by allowing customers to adapt them to reflect their personalities. All my designs are made to order and lovingly handmade by me. So, if you can request your preferences beforehand, most of the time, I will be able to tweak your design to suit your taste. Kindly always store the word necklaces flat when not in use to maintain shape. Try to keep them away from children’s hands as the shape is written in calligraphy way and manhandling can ruin the letters and / or writing.

We recommend the following, in regards to jewellery care from Handmade by Tinni: Avoid contact with water, oil, lotions, insect repellents & perfume Please store away from extreme heat, strong sunlight, water or high levels of moisture & try not to drop it! To keep your Textile jewellery shiny clean, always use a super soft cloth to get rid of any smears & smudges. A microfibre cloth, similar to the sort you get with your reading glasses is a good choice Always ensure the cloth is clean, dust free & rub lightly to avoid losing the shape of the product. For more stubborn marks, a little bit of water or baby wipe should help. Remove when sleeping, exercising, or doing other physically strenuous activities. Avoid contact with body oils, and other chemicals, including household cleaners. Do not use chemical jewellery cleaners. Do not wash.

Jewellery with Magnetic Closures - Kindly open and close the magnetic clasps by holding the metal section only. Try not to pull the rope endings. They are glued and strong pull might unglue the magnets.

Storing jewellery whilst not in use: Kindly always store the word necklaces flat when not in use to maintain shape. I understand you might be desperate to get these beauties as soon as possible. You'll be able to track most parcels on their way to you! Standard delivery usually takes between 2-4 working days, while Express delivery usually takes 1-3 working days. For international orders, we recommend your parcel using Royal Mail International TRACKED. They aim to deliver in 5 to 10 working days, but please take this with a pinch of salt, as different destinations take different times. Please see our Shipping Policy for more details.

Please allow the times specified in 'When will my order arrive?' (above) for delivery. If your order is taking longer than this please get in touch with the shipping company, using the tracking number on the email sent to you. They might be able to tell you where your parcel is. If they're unable to help, please email me at paulomi@handmadebytinni.com with your order details and delivery address, and I'll do everything I can to find out what's going on. Returns and Exchanges I really hope you won't want or need to return anything, but if you do please email me at paulomi @handmadebytinni within 3 days after delivery, including your reason for returning and your order details. All returns must be unused, unwashed and in their original packaging. Dispatch items back within: 7 days of delivery ​ I don't accept exchanges or cancellations But please contact me if you have any problems with your order. The following items can't be returned or exchanged ​ Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for: Intimate items like earrings (for health/hygiene reasons) Items on sale Custom or personalised orders ​ Conditions of return ​ Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Word Art: Colours may vary due to monitor settings. This product is not a toy and not suitable for under 3s and should not be hung above a cot/bed. We recommend using 3M removable backing tape for fixing to walls / doors. For flower walls, you can tie thread to the lettering and thread through the mesh on the wall. These products are very delicate and are for decoration only.

In our knitted home decor range, all wire word signs are customisable and we can create any word (or words) you like, They are available in 28 colours and are made from organic cotton yarn secured over shaped wire. Customers can display their custom wall signs on walls or sit them on a shelf. However, the longer words can heavy and difficult to hang on the wall. especially if you want an aligned look. You might need extra nail in the middle. Choose something personal to you, or a loved one if you're buying as a gift, by getting a knitted word of your choice for your home decor.
